CheckItWorks is free, needs no account, and runs its tests inside your own browser. These terms say who operates it, what the results are worth, and what we do and don't take responsibility for.

CheckItWorks is operated by SHPATIK STUDIO S.R.L., a company registered in the Republic of Moldova under fiscal code 1025600067753, at str. What you get
A set of hardware diagnostic tools you can use free of charge, with no registration and no software to install. Each test runs in your browser using standard web APIs. We may add, change, or retire tools at any time, and we don't promise the site will always be available or free of faults.
What the results mean, and what they don't
The tests report what your browser can observe, which is not the same as what a service technician measures on a bench. A browser cannot see your hardware directly: results are shaped by your operating system, drivers, other running software, the browser itself, and, for the speed test, the whole network path. Treat every result as an indication worth investigating, not as a professional diagnosis.
In particular, do not rely on a result from this site as your only basis for a warranty claim, a repair decision, a purchase, or a sale. Check the manufacturer's own specification and, where it matters, get the device examined properly.
Using the site fairly
Use the site for its intended purpose. Don't try to break, overload, or gain unauthorised access to it or to the services it depends on, don't automate traffic in a way that degrades it for other people, and don't use it in a way that breaks the law where you are. We may block access that does any of these.
Advertising and third-party services
The tool pages carry advertising served by Google, and the internet speed test measures against Cloudflare's public servers. We don't control what an ad shows, where it links, or what happens on the site it links to, and those companies' own terms and privacy policies apply to the parts they operate. The privacy policy explains what this means for cookies and your data.
Liability
The site and its tools are provided as they are, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from using the site or from relying on a result it produced — including damage to a device, a rejected warranty claim, or a purchase you would not otherwise have made. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms as the site changes; the version on this page is the one that applies. These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Moldova, and the courts of the Republic of Moldova have jurisdiction over any dispute — this does not remove any protection you have under the mandatory consumer law of the country you live in.
